This worksheet provides students with punnet squares and asks them to ocmplete the Punnet Squares to practice interpreting relevant vocabulary and explaining basic mendelian heritability. Use the attached slideshow to explain the concepts and introduce punnet squares.

Anatomically Correct Insects
Introduce basic insect anatomy using the slideshow, play a kahoot to reinforce this vocabulary, and then have students draw their own using the list of terms in the slideshow. This slideshow and kahoot optionally introduces life cycles.

Pollinator Memory
A matching game to illuminate the role of pollinators in the food we eat everyday. Participants are tasked with collecting the necessary components of a complete meal by matching their corresponding insect pollinators.
